Renee's husband, Michael Pagel, is the only person
who has not voluntarily interviewed with police and has not provided an alibi to police for the night Renee was
murdered. He has custody of the couple's three children. He has recently moved them from his sister's
house in Hudsonville, to live in a private hunting compound (Mid Forest Lodge) in Prudenville, Michigan,
near Houghton Lake.
